What a fantastic place with friendly people. And the food is very good. We had two burgers and a salad and it tasted great. Sow it's a good place for you to stop.

Great restaurant!! Some of the best burgers you’ll have in South Africa coupled with the craft beer made by the owners.. I had the chicken burger and it was delicious however you have a selection of burgers namely the beef wagyu range which my wife had and was equally delicious. Add bonus is the craft chili sauce sold by the bottle for the chili sauce lovers..Definitely worth a stop when In Prince Elbert!

Karoo Bierstro made a lasting (excellent) impression! I can't imagine any customer leaving there anything other than being impressed and feeling a satisified and valued customer.Anyone travelling the Swartberg pass or surrounds of Oudtshoorn, Klaarstroom or De Rust should treat themselves to Karoo Bierstro's craft beers, hearty meals or decadent desserts, and more.The food is freshly prepared, very generously sized and delicious - a far cry from the artificial taste that fast food offers.Their prices are realistic and for many of their dishes gives franchise and even guesthouse restaurants stiff competition, and with better tasting dishes at that. Everything we ordered was available in spite of it being load shedding (government scheduled electricity cuts due to low supply).A cozy and relaxed atmosphere with a neat and clean setup. The owner, his wife and the staff are confident and proud to serve their customers. They gave us an amazing experience and good recommendations and made us feel welcomed.They are close to fully accessible for most physically challenged customers, beyond many other establishments (even those advertising to be accessible).I will be thrilled to go there again if I ever get the chance.
